Žaneta Drgova’s project is a response to the needs of Hnutí DUHA, which is primarily involved in ecological activities: renewable energy, recycling and environment protection. The basic element identifying the organization’s headquarters is a line that travels at a set height through various rooms. It takes on a different color in each room: blue, yellow, or green. The line divides the “clean” part (the upper part of the spaces) from the work spaces, which are normally chaotic. It is also broken by graphic elements, and the outside of the building is linked to tourist path markings.
The design is a financial solution accessible to a non-profit organization. Another part of the project is a set of pictograms with products to identify various sorts of refuse. These graphic symbols form part of a whole ID system. The same pictograms appear on tape that can be stuck onto any garbage receptacle.
