We often forget that a few things can make our work a success: a sense of detail, craftsmanship, simple consistency, an extraordinary solution, and beauty. We also forget that a design, ultimately, is there to bring people pleasure and to be aesthetic when placed in its proper surroundings. This principle applies regardless of whether we are talking about a large team project, or an idea to fit a niche on the market. The jury chose Vanda Miškechova’s work because it fills the above requirements. The designer has proved that the same standards used in large and ambitious designs can be implemented in everyday work. This design for the visual identity of a photo-developing Internet service is a fine example.
