Out of all the awarded works, this project shows best that designing is largely an intellectual activity, in which any formal solution should be adapted to its goal. The designer has decided to make primary school teachers aware about the scale of the problem of discrimination among children. The project has the form of a spatial survey: children fill in the inner part of a special screen with stickers, tokens, and their answers to questions asked by the author. The outer part of the screen is filled in by the author’s commentary and fragments of a report by the Polish Supreme Audit Office. She has designed no more and no less than was necessary. The pilot action run in one of schools has confirmed that.
