The author’s goal is to define personal space for an introverted person. The project consists of objects which symbolically take the user to another world. They can be compared to a child’s “bunker” hiding all his or her toys in a small temporary space. Soft foam has been used to make the objects, whose acoustic properties make it possible to soundproof the space and, in a way, to cut it off from the surrounding world. The flexible material is easy to shape and works great with gentle body movements – relaxing swinging and swaying. The object can also function as a kind of sarcophagus – its interior is neither voluminous nor claustrophobic.
