Folk motifs and patterns are still important information carriers. Clothing plays the same role nowadays, although it is often modified by modern production technologies, materials, or trends. The designer decided to pursue the mission of saving the precious heritage from oblivion and to make it interesting to younger generations. The Rokoya brand is an attire generator referring to one of the elements of hundred-year-old traditional attire. Rokoya is a skirt which used to be worn by the Székely women – the inhabitants of Transylvania. The generator makes it possible to create a personalised outfit which accentuates the wearer’s individual character, just like in the past. The patterns on the clothes are made using the sublimation printing technique and the clothes are prepared by local weavers
