The key protagonist of the project is time. The publication ends when the reader breaks through all the pictures, at the same time becoming an active participant in the project. Each photo can be scratched off to reveal a different image. Scratch cards are usually associated with lotteries and prizes, but they are supposed to evoke totally different emotions here. Moreover, the publication functions as a reflection on the culture of excess and the destructive activity of humans. The first layer of the print is composed of archive analogue photos and documents. When scratched off, they show surprising images of rubbish collected by the author. By combining and removing particular images, the user experiences the inevitable sense of transience, the feeling that everything is temporary.
