The goal of this bronze bell set is to promote the bellfounding tradition in the Czech Republic and to support a local manufactory. The Ribell collection was created in cooperation with Jan Šeda – a second-generation bellmaker. The casting workshop was opened by his father in 1990. The collection is comprised of a reception bell with a button, a bell with a handle, a console bell, and a small bell with a ring. The castings are made of a special bronze alloy, complemented by wooden and steel components. The Ribell collection draws from hotel tradition – for bells, this is a natural and typical environment. The name refers to the word “rib”, which is used in the bellmaking craft to denote a cut of a bell.
