The designer is preparing a publication about the history and significance of Czech samizdat – dissident clandestine self-publishing. She analyses this phenomenon, focusing on the visual aspect of the 20th-century publications by three outstanding personalities of culture: Bedřich Fučík (a Catholic literary critic, historian, editor, and translator); Jindřich Pokorný (a translator, editor, and writer); and Viktor Karlík (a painter, graphic designer, sculptor, and object artist). In the theoretical part of her work, the author presents the results of her research on the subject of the publication. The practical part – the selection and arrangement of the studied resources – is presented in a book.
