Opening of the exhibition Graduation Projects 2018

The days 1st and 2nd of March 2019 saw the official round-up of the 17th edition of the International Graduation Projects Review 2018.

The visitors were not only able to see the best design graduation projects in Zamek Cieszyn but they also had a chance to meet the creators of the presented diploma works, who gave public presentations of their projects. The two most interesting presentations were awarded with IT equipment. The audience decided to reward Mateusz Mioduszewski, the author of the ASHka project, and Zofia Dziurawiec, the designer a copyrights coursebook.

Moreover, the partners of the Graduation Projects Platform, who represent Czechdesign (CZ), Hungarian Design Council (HU), and Slovak Design Center (SK), along with the representatives of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (PL) spoke about forms of support for young designers in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia.

The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by an official presentation of four special distinctions awarded by a representative of Comarch SA. The distinctions in the form of paid internships were awarded to: Paulina Hanzel, Julianna Zych, Tadeusz Ciechanowski, and Tomáš Chludil.

You can see the Graduation Projects 2018 exhibition presenting 30 design diploma projects in Zamek Cieszyn from the 2nd to 31st of March 2019.

The events were made possible through the financial support of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the International Visegrad Fund, and the Comarch SA company.
