Powerstrips come in handy when the nearest source of electricity is too far for your needs. Those available in shops are quite standardised, since most of them are equipped only with Europlug sockets and they usually serve only one purpose. XCord is an extension cord with a different approach – it has a movable, replaceable cable, easy do dismantle. What is more, the panels can be connected – they are modular and have varying numbers of sockets. They have additional functions too: they can be used as USB ports, Wi-Fi cords, or power banks. The project has been designed with households in mind; it can be also very useful while travelling, as it takes little space after folding.
