The project of an inclusive playground highlights the idea of accessibility. The designer tried to create friendly conditions for effective integration between children without disabilities and children using wheelchairs – in particular, the age group of six to nine years old. The project fills a gap in the market, as no element requires the children with disabilities to leave their wheelchairs. The playground consists of a series of components: three climbing devices, a ramp-lever, a target board, a xylophone with bells, a labyrinth, and a platform. They are mostly made of durable and environmentally friendly materials. There are also special graphic files which describe selected details and activity ideas. The project is completed by an animation and implementation suggestions for Warsaw.
