A design for a portable sewing machine with a painted aluminum body, for those who need to have a small clothesmaking studio in their home. Equipment of this kind is quite complex, and demands that the designer have a solid grasp of the mechanics. Solutions like selection of the width and length of the stitch controlled by a ring‑shaped dial, a rotating handle, a lever for sewing backwards, lighting, a retractable lower thread spool, and an external thread cutter make the device highly functional. The designer has introduced a gamut of innovations, including left‑handed options, adjustment of the working clearance, reduction of the table height to increase the field of work, and colored lines on the needle plate that let you sew at an even margin from the edge of the fabric. The product is practical, as well as being an admirable design.
