The group B4, whose identification is the subject of Erika Knoppová’s graduation project, incorporates aspects of both music and theater – experimenting in the recording studio with instruments they have created themselves. (Members of B4 are also active in the Buchty a loutky theater.)
This visual identification design draws inspiration from the masks often worn by B4 the musicians during performances. Designed elements include a book filled with a full series of texts, a B4 CD, printed T‑shirt, and portable stand featuring gadgets suitable for use at festivals and large music events. (An inexpensive version of the CD is available in cardboard packaging.) Erika Knoppova’s use of recycled materials is a refreshing departure from the stereotypical “rock band” image.
