This project explores the relations between light and human psyche. The wrong choice of the light source, for example lightbulbs, leads to numerous disorders. Artificial light makes human mind believe it is a natural continuation of daylight. Thanks to the sensors placed on the object, it automatically emits light which is suitable for the given time of the day. In the night mode, the colour blue has been eliminated – it is harmful for eyes and it can disturb the production of melatonin, the hormone of sleep, in human body. During the day and dusk, the lamp emits neutral white glow, whereas at night it emits warm colours. What is more, the project shows the potential of glass as a material, which offers the opportunity to create original forms and produce series of objects.
