The project is focused on mapping and archiving the visual aesthetics of the punk culture in the Czech town of Rožnov – from its rise up to this day. The author has collected not only the commonly available artefacts, such as vinyl covers or brochures, but also magazines, posters, and individual objects and artworks which have shaped this extraordinary and yet largely unknown community. The author’s contribution is substantial: the publication presents his subjective interpretation of punk aesthetics and his perception of a genre which has been an important part of his life since childhood.
