The main element of the system is the animated typeface. Its movement results from a change in the weight of the letterforms that are affected by the strength of specified frequency ranges in sound. The features of both the kinetic and static versions of the font were presented through an example of a fictional musical conference, named “Uziq”, taking place in the building of Kodály Központ in Pécs. The author created the identity of the event using the Uziq Sans type family in offline and online media, including the building’s façade. There are eight complete and ready to use versions of the type, differing in weight.
