The designer has drawn from the traditional art of making lace to create a new concept for fabrics. A direct inspiration came from lace patterns printed and drawn on paper. Her idea was to laser‑cut the recurring motifs in wool or polyester felt. This method eliminates some of the manual work. The technology provides endless possibilities. The material is suitable for producing outfits and accessories (it can even be used for making smaller pieces, such as collars, brooches, bracelets, and belts), as well as interior decor – curtains, carpets, and pillowcases.
