This artistic publication examines the bond between humans and things. It consists of eight books in a single box. Each part has a unique form that corresponds with the subject and nature of its content – this reflects the versatility of the analysed relationships. The largest volume presents the theoretical aspects of the main theme, combining a variety of disciplines: from philosophy and anthropology to history and psychology. It is accompanied by seven narrative appendices, based on interviews. Thanks to the dispersed form, readers can freely explore the text, unrestrained by linear perception. At the same time, the form underscores the importance of particular elements: each book can easily be read independently. The covers and the box are unified by the grey colour, which is a reference to book collection archiving. The whole publication is set using the Collector typeface, designed by the author of the project specifically for this purpose.
