The project focuses on designing temporary, reusable installations for the Udvar Festival in Arló, Hungary. The aim is to engage the local Roma community and promote values of cooperation, belonging, and collective responsibility. The installations are based on a modular structural system that allows their elements to be reused after the festival. They can be transformed into raised garden beds, roof structure of the stage can serve as a rainwater collector, and the shading elements of communal spaces can be repurposed as bus shelters or bicycle racks. This approach ensures a circular use of materials and extends the installations’ social and environmental impact beyond the event itself. The stage thus becomes both a physical platform for community performances and a metaphorical space for cultural expression.
