This project is primarily an attempt to experiment with materials and technologies (e.g. magnesium or powder 3D printing) which have not been used to make violins so far. The instrument constructed by the designer has all the most important proportions of a classic violin, so every violinist can play it without the need to adjusting it to someone. The most significant changes have been introduced into the construction of the violin, for example in the length of the element which tightens the strings. The openwork structure not only enables the sound to spread in every direction but it reduces the weight of the instrument. This way, the instrument is not heavier than a classic violin, which is extremely important for the comfort of playing
