The objective of the project is to share knowledge about typography among children and their parents. The theoretical part is complemented with practical activities combining learning and playing. In particular chapters, the author presents the origin of letters and the alphabet; she also explains what diacritics are for and why designers keep creating new typefaces. Young readers can find out the difference between typographers and type designers thanks to the interviews with two representatives of these professions: Kuba Sowiński and Maciej Połczyński. What is more, the publication contains examples of fonts with illustrations presenting their applications. Another part of the project is a series of screen-printing graphics inspired by children’s drawings. The drawings were created during workshops at which the young readers tested the prototype and the components of the project.
