Memories are recorded in books; archives are created from books; archives become a rhizomatic network of knowledge. The project reflects on the synonymy of the titular concepts through the form of a book object. In terms of its contents, it is a bibliography and a collection of quotes taken from the rich literature of books on books, along with personal reflections, dictionary entries, and notes. Its pages do not have a predetermined order: they are put in an archival box without binding. This way, it is up to the reader to establish connections within them. It is the reader’s task to visually organise and reconstruct the memories carried by the object. In this case, they are memories of the history and future of book culture – or in a broader sense, the reader’s own memories.
