Time to be honest – I do not print out all the photographs that are dear to me, I do not label them, put them in an album to pull out at important family reunions. The reality is that I record the more important moments on my telephone, and I am reminded to store them when I run out of space for new photographs. The Family Archive web app lets us create a digital archive of photographs, films, stories, and audio recordings. It has the basic functions we know from social media, but unlike the latter, it guarantees data privacy and security. Designed with responsive technology, the app is transparent and, insofar as we can tell from the presentation film, functional. If the designer is correct in saying that the app is the first of its kind on the market, we predict commercial success.
