This is one of the projects which make you say “I can’t believe nobody has thought about this before!”. The designer was inspired by the Cyclelogistics foundation report from 2015, which revealed that almost all of cargo transport in European cities is executed by engine vehicles. Transporting big shopping bags or heavy objects on a bike would be a much better solution, taking into account economy and environment: it means less exhaust fumes and quicker getting from one place to another. Besides, the user has the chance to move a bit and save some money. A great advantage of this project is the universal trailer joint which fits every urban bike. The objects is compatible with London bike hire service and it could work with other services of this type as well.
