This ladder is made of light aluminum alloys. Its construction is limited to a single tube and a set of collapsible rungs, making for a very simple and interesting solution. It is light, which allows it to be used in situations where it must be shifted about. It can come in handy wherever access is limited, and requires little storage space. According to the designer, the idea was inspired by forms of traditional household objects, while the construction alludes to the shape of a sapling. The lightness of this idea is accompanied by some hard questions. What surprises are in store for the user if the rungs are slippery or the ground marshy? Are the ladder supports safe? It is not easy to make simple things. As always, it is the details that decide upon a product’s potential success.
