This work not only facilitates the adoption of a dynamic sitting position, following ergonomic and health strictures, but also introduces new aesthetic and semantic values to the shaping of this sort of furniture. From a construction point of view, the most important thing is that the designer managed, in a clever fashion, to allow the user to adopt either a static or a dynamic position. The design features two stool heights and a bench for a larger number of people. The seat itself was inspired by a “carelessly” sewn button, and is a witty reference to equally careless movements made in the “active” sitting mode.
