The aim of the project was to design a state-of-the-art suit for glider pilots, particularly experimental and aerobatic pilots. These pilots regularly take part in industry shows and events but currently have no access to clothing that meets their specific functional needs while also highlighting their affiliation with a company or team. The author drew inspiration from professional racing suits and advanced technical apparel. Polish pilots often lack appropriate clothing and therefore unjustifiably blend into the background among the aircraft. Existing suits on the market tend to evoke military associations and fail to reflect the emotions connected with gliding—freedom, passion, and energy. In this project, the author combined both practical and representational functions.. The outcome of this work is fully personalized clothing—specifically, two jumpsuits made from high-quality technical materials such as ripstop—ensuring comfort, ergonomics, and a contemporary appearance.
