“Highwhale” is a modern electric passenger ferry , which responds to the need for modernization of the inland fleet. It highlights the untapped potential of waterways, which could help relieve congestion on overcrowded land routes. The vessel’s shape optimizes energy efficiency. Its single-deck, streamlined body with a uniform profile reduces air resistance. The surface geometryenhances aerodynamics, course stability, and energy efficiency. To reduce overall weight, the internal structure uses lightweight yet durable honeycomb panels.. Low draft and low-speed propellers limit the impact on the aquatic ecosystem and minimize erosion of the bed and banks. The single-hull design allows for convenient placement of electrical systems and batteries, as well as operation in light icing conditions. The vessel is capable of autonomous operation thanks to cameras, radar, and sensor systems. It can be used for urban and intercity transport or as a tourist vessel, offering emission-free cruises in areas of natural beauty.
