With the growing interest in working with glass, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the Polish glass industry is tailored to only one type of worker: a tall, strong man with large hands. People who want to be employed in glassworks but do not meet these criteria often find the job frustrating and sometimes even impossible. One of the main problems faced by newcomers is the use of heavy, massive, and non-user-friendly tools. Around the Fire is a set of tools designed to ergonomically suit smaller and less physically strong hands. Each tool has different proportions and a construction that provides greater comfort during use, allowing users to have better control over their work with the material. The aim of the project is to reduce the initial entry barrier for people who want to work in glassworks. Thanks to this user-friendly tool set, the profession can motivate new users to enter this field.
