At Home Abroad is an original fashion and textile collection inspired by the architecture of Barcelona, particularly the decorative elements of Catalan modernism such as ceramic tiles and stucco ornamentation. The project examines how visual characteristics of urban space can be transformed into textile design. The collection is designed for an urban audience and focuses on the aesthetic and functional connection between clothing and interior textiles. The garments feature original prints created using direct digital textile printing, based on the author’s illustrations. An integral part of the collection is a series of textile “tiles” functioning as modular interior elements or as components incorporated into garments. This concept introduces an innovative link between textile design, space, and architectureThe combination of natural fabric and digital printing evokes the tactile quality of a painter’s canvas, ensuring a coherent visual identity throughout the collection.
