The designer explored the field of creative coding and its application in graphic design. She investigated and employed coding processes to create a motion poster about endangered plants in the Czech Republic. Creative coding is a discipline that combines programming techniques with artistic creation. In the “digital garden”, endangered plants are captured in a virtual environment: their preservation is ensured at least digitally. In a sense, code represents a living organism that grows and evolves, but in a virtual space, influenced by various external factors. In today’s world, where the natural environment is gradually degrading under the pressure of technological development and human impact, digital technologies offer alternative ways to preserve species. The work was created using the processing.org software, which is based on writing code.
