The voluminous publication presents five Polish female architects from the interwar and post-war period: Barbara Brukalska, Helena Syrkus, Nina Janicka, Halina Skibniewska, and Jadwiga Grabowska-Hawrylak. The book is also a chronicle of the reconstruction of Poland and a tribute to the outstanding women pioneers of Polish modernist architecture. The well-thought-out and creative graphic design of the book completes the text, illustrating it in an accurate and unconventional manner. The women whose biographies are presented in the publication shared a purpose: to make the world a better place.
