The Reactive Type Tool was developed to help designers create typographic interactions based on variable fonts, without any coding skills. It allows users to explore the possibilities that such fonts offer for animation and interaction design. The tool generates a code that designers can implement on their own or pass to developers. As a result, designers do not need to know programming to create interactive projects, and their cooperation with developers becomes better optimised. What’s more, by testing the fonts in motion, they can select the right type for their dynamic projects. The main target group of the tool are visual communication designers.
