Tatry Explore is a response to the problem of irresponsible tourism in the Tatra Mountains. However, the application may be easily adapted to any other mountain region. It helps tourists in planning their trips wisely, by matching the right difficulty level to their skills and suggesting necessary equipment. Other features include navigation and weather forecasts. What is more, the app helps in ensuring safety in the mountains, as users can update each other about possible dangers on the trails. They can also monitor their progress and statistics. The project was developed using the UX approach. Additionally, the concept involves the use of AR and 360 technologies, which are increasingly often applied in navigation. The app has a summer and a winter interface.
