Specializing in footwear design, Sára Gulyás has made innovative use of the old Hungarian tradition of sewing bocskorok – slippers from a single piece of leather. Pikkpack is not just a design for comfortable and original shoes, it is a concept that lets you make them yourself. The flat package contains all the pieces you need: a pattern made of high‑grade leather, in a wide range of colors, and accessories – the characteristic color laces. The designer has personalized the process, encouraging and involving the users to make their own shoes with care for the environment; there is a minimal use of materials for the product and its packaging. This humble, yet very popular MA project is rounded off with a graphic design for the brand, and an Internet campaign with a film.
