With the air pollution in cities and the glo- bal climate change, caused in part by fuel emissions, any and all attempts aiming toward sustainable development are surely welcome. Roman Čípek’s motorcycle design falls in the category of “naked bikes.” Apart from the elegant minimalist form, its main advantage is the electric motor, allowing riders to get around cities and their environs. The designer has shown that an environment-friendly product can also be attractive. The 1:5 scale model is accompanied by documentation and visualizations. Any shortcomings or inadequacies of the design might be discovered and adjusted only after further stages of execution.
